Quiz Night - November 2009

Thanks to every one who supported our BIG Chippy Quiz Night at The Town Hall last week.

The team that won the Trophy, donated by The 729 Club was The King's Head at Bledington (Dave Hicks, Chris Johnson, Dan Hicks, Suzanne Montaille-Rix and Kevin Goodey) with the Chippy News "Newshounds" team coming a close second. The evening raised £600 for The Lido.

Liz Cooke Christmas Cards

We are pleased to offer for sale packs of 10 Christmas Cards featuring two delightful watercolours painted for us by Liz Cooke a great friend of The Lido.

Liz Cooke Christmas Cards A pack of 10 (five each of the two designs) A6 cards and envelopes costs just £5 with proceeds being put to good use by the charity's trustees.

They can be purchased from Jaffé & Neale Bookshop & Café or come and buy them directly from us on 3 December (Chippy's pre-Christmas Late Night Shopping Event.)

You'll find us that evening selling cards, mugs (also £5) and mulled wine outside Westgate Department Store in Withers Court.

Capital Appeal

Donations are still needed to complete the improvements to the infrastructure of The Lido.
