The Lido is seeking a part-time second chef for its café for the summer season. We are looking for an individual aged 18+ with catering experience, able to prep, cook and serve food and drink, and happy to work alone at quiet times and as part of a friendly team when we are busy.
The successful applicant will be sociable and enjoy meeting customers, hardworking and able to cope with pressure. This part-time position offers around 3 days’ work per week, including some weekend shifts. We require some flexibility, since we are a seasonal, weather-dependent facility, and we also offer flexibility through our rota system, so this job may well suit someone with other part-time work, family or study commitments.
Full training will be given, and our café staff are at the heart of The Lido’s friendly team.
