Fun Run Sunday 20 July 2008

Our annual 5km (approx.) Fun Run or Walk will start from the school field next to The Lido on Sunday 20 July. The race begins at 10.30am with a free swim for all entrants afterwards. It’s £5 for entrants registering in advance at The Lido or Jaffé & Neale, Bookshop, Chipping Norton or £6 on the day, with the last registration at 10.15am

Our much loved Lido is now firmly established as an award-winning local charity which has gained deserved recognition. It’s an enterprise with a social conscience and an example of how sport and leisure facilities can be run by and for a community. Congratulations to all the staff, trustees, supporters and everyone who uses The Lido!

The weather
shouldn't be a
deterrent as the
water is heated to
a minimum of
26° C, so even in
a traditional British
summer you can
take the plunge
and enjoy a swim.

Fun...

You don’t even have to swim! You can just watch your children or grandchildren swimming (something you can’t do at many indoor pools.)

Auction of Promises a Spectacular Success!

The 2008 Chippy Lido Auction provided a great evening’s entertainment to a packed marquee and raised a fantastic £18,500!

Lido Lottery June Winners

146 tickets were sold, resulting in a prize fund of £219

Capital Appeal

Donations are still needed to complete the improvements to the infrastructure of The Lido.
